R2F 5'6" Multispecies Telescopic Spincast Rod/Reel Combo Kit, Md-Lt, R2F2-SC/TL

I first got this while working up in Mn. Well, turns out its about perfect for any hobby fisher type that wants to just pull up to a river or pond and see what bites. I switched out the line for Spider Wire and added some lures. Keep it in my luggage and used it to fish in Ca, Tx and NC so far [I have to travel a lot for work]. Since I don't fish much when I'm at home, I use this pole/kit more than my high dollar fishing gear. I liked it so much that I bought a couple more for my brothers for Christmas. That way they can keep it in their cars and be ready to go when the nephews want to fish. I wouldn't chase anything too big. You would be pushing over 10 pounds unless the fish is the type that give up and can be pulled onto shore. Great for pan fish and smaller catfish.
