The light in the Benny is great. It's rechargeable and last for two hours on a charge. My son is a mechanic at a dealership and just loves it for working on the vehicles. All of his coworkers thought it was really cool. Nice and bright. What a great deal for a nice gift.

I purchased this beanie with a built-in light for my son, who often walks dogs at night. From my perspective, it's a fantastic product: well made, warm, and the light is impressively bright. I especially appreciate that the light can be removed for daytime wear, making it versatile as well as practical. My son, however, was less enthusiastic. He took one look at it and declared, ‘This is not the type of hat I wear. Apparently, his fashion sense doesn't extend to headlamps. So while I see it as a clever safety tool, he sees it as a fashion crime. In short: five stars from me, zero stars from him — which averages out to a solid three, depending on whose head it's on.
