Not consistent number of colors

I use this thread to embroidery crazy quilts. It is much better than embroidery floss. I did deduct 2 stars because it is quite inconsistent as to how many skeins of each color the package contains. In the last month I have ordered 2 packs. For example, the 1st package had 1 skein of the dark purple and the 2nd has I believe 4, which is more along the number I'm used to. I had to order the 2nd package to finish my project. I have used this brand for a few years.
