Replacement Oven Bake Element
Item is advertised as exact replacement. That is not totally accurate. It is an exact replacement in fit and function only. The indentation on the front is about only a third as deep as the original and probably not as efficient as the original part. The other thing is that the fastening brackets are not bridged together like the original. It bolts right up but it is not as sturdy and very flexible so extra caution is warranted when installing the replacement. The part was shipped free to the local Walmart for pickup.Picking up the part the package looked like it had gone through a tornado but the item was undamaged. Opening the package and inspecting the item prior to leaving the store is advised. On the other hand, it serves purpose and the price can't be beat and includes shipping. Much better price than all other sources and 75% less the OEM replacement part.
