I got one bag from Walmart almost at the end of the snow season last year. I used it, and it was very effective.👍 So I bought two more bags this year, although I didn't use it so much from the previous bag. I'm going to use quite a lot this year because I had trouble with snow last year. It's only October 10, 2025 today, and it's pretty warm out there. But I'd like to be prepared, because I went to Walmart when it was snowing last year, and all kinds of salt-for-snow was sold out. I didn't get one bag until near the end of the snow season.😏

This is a medium sized bag of calcium chloride. The shoe is shown in the picture for scale. A little bit goes a long way with this product, so you don't need to store huge bags of salt. This works much better and faster than rock salt. You'll start seeing results within a few minutes. This product can hurt your pet's paws so if that is a consideration, you might want to go with another product.
