The AIYIMA DAC/A5 PRO I use for my PC comes with an AC adapter,
I bought it with the impure motive of making it USB bus/powered to clean up the power supply area.
I bought it with an impure motive, and the purpose is to output DAC from RCA terminals.
Just by connecting it to my PC with a USB cable, the Windows 10 setup was done automatically.
The sound came out from the speakers easily.
With the DAC/A5, there were still many problems with Windows 10...
The sound quality seems to have improved for the price difference of the unit.
I was using JBL104/Y3 for YouTube, but the sound is now good enough to use for CD playback.
The sound is now good enough to be used for CD playback.
In addition, when I plugged SONY MDR/M1ST into the headphone jack,
It sounded better than I had imagined.
I felt that the headphone amp was already good enough.
I listened to a CD recording, and while the individual sounds were clearly audible, the overall sound was not loud and the music was not as loud as I would have liked,
I listened to the CD source at hand and found that although the individual sounds were clearly audible, the whole was not noisy and the music was cohesive.
Especially, the part where the sound rises up from the silence and the fading sound is beautifully
I can feel the sound of the sound rising from the silence and fading away.
One thing to note is that the line out is fixed volume, so the sound comes out even when headphones are plugged in.
The only caveat is that the line out is fixed in volume, so even if you plug in headphones, the sound will still come out, so you need to stop the sound on the speaker side.
