Royal & Langnickel Soft Pastels

I am doing pastels for the first time, I find them to be a real easy to blend, and the color is terrific, they are so easy to work with, you can pack them up and go where you want. . . sit under a Joshua Tree and paint away. then just pack them up and off you go.no waiting to dry, etc. I have done 10 Pictures, They have been in two art shows in our small area. I am entering one in the County Fair in September. I usually do acrylics, and gourds but wanted a change. it has been a wonderful surprise. I consider myself another " Grandma Moses". LOL
