Fun Pencils, Great Quality

These are super versatile pencils. When used as a traditional pencil, they layer and blend really well without a lot of waxy build-up. When you go over them with a wet paintbrush, they blend just like watercolor, so you can get a lot of sharp detail when used with traditional watercolors. Finally, if you dip the pencil tip in water, the color will go on the paper at twice the intensity of the dry pencil. These are really fun to use if you've never tried watercolor pencils.

Verified Purchase

Shipping leaves a lot to be desired. The first set we received had a tin (via UPS) that was so bent it would not shut correctly. We contacted Blick about the dented tin and they sent me a new set. That one arrived by FEDEX and it looked like it had been stepped on and the tin bent to unusable use. The pencils were not damaged luckily but we are dealing with Blick as to the shipping problems. Blick was more than helpful (as much as they could be) but Walmart needs to fix their shippers and protect the merchandise much better.
