These jeans are super cute and super stylish for the flare jean look! They fit perfectly and I didn't have to alter them. at all. A lot of these reviews say there is no give however there's a bit of giving when word without washing a few times in a row, which will easily go back to the original shape once washed. Highly recommend purchasing these if you're on the fence!

I'm obsessed with the retro Mae flare fit, especially the black pair. I've been looking for a pair of nice black pants either for interviews or for dressing up and these pants were just what I wanted. I'm 5'4" and weigh about 175lbs and ordered a size 11. The fit is super comfortable (lots of stretch and the material of the pants are super soft) and could've sized down to a 9 for a more fitted look around the waist. However, I wanted a more relaxed fit around my waist so I sized up for that reason. I really love how the retro Mae flares fit my body and am considering ordering another pair in a different color. My only minor issue is I should've selected an 11x30" instead of the 11x32". On me, the 11x32" are a tiny bit too long when I wear flats or boots with a shorter heel (i.e. about 1 1/2" heel height). However, I do have boots that are tall enough (i.e. about 2" - 3" heel height) and the pants do not drag the ground at all. Overall, I really love the black retro Mae flared pants and highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice pair of western dress pants.
