Absolutely the worst.

I got this acrylic black Gesso to coat canvasses . I swear this junk is that... JUNK, GARBAGE, TRASH. I applied three coats dried in between coats and left to dry over night. Next day when I started painting I noticed my paints turning gray. What the?! Then I left it on my pallet for 4 days, it dried. Put a wet paper towel over the paint (after it had dried mind you) and wax paper over that to paint again. After about 8 hours of having a wet towel over this stuff.... All my old dried acrylics from the Gesso fiasco day...were not affected by the we towel, except the Sax Black Gesso, which to my surprise was paintable again. It had completely softened to painting consistency. Well folks that's not right... , not right at all. Save your money, get something better... unless you want your art to wash away.
