The small dog door for the screen is perfect, I have a screened in porch and my cats like to go hang out there. I put my dog door in the sliding window screen, then I blocked off the open screen with Plexi glass and a insulation that's used for a window a/c unit so my house still stays cool. I had a different dog door for screen and it lasted 1 month before it quit closing all the way. Also the cat door is built a lot better than the last one.
