I bought this to fill my farm tractor with and since the fuel cap is on the hood it is easier to use a funnel instead of the spout - for a truck the spout might be easier, This was more expensive than other cans but it does feel rugged. Main reason I got this one is because of 2 handles so it makes it easier to climb onto the tractor for a more steady flow. Directions on using the spout are on a label on the can - also videos are out there on the internet in case of questions
