. Shake, measure, pour. ? Dry Your Fresh Herbs. 1. Wash herbs carefully with a fine mist sprayer and wipe to remove dirt. Pat dry with paper towel. 2. Tie herbs into small bundles with kitchen string. For best results, each bunch should contain no more than 5 to 10 stems. 3. Hang bunches in a dry, dark, and warm (but not humid) place with good ventilation. 4. Dry herbs for 1 to 3 weeks or between fingers. ? Store Your Dried Herbs. 1. Keep leaves whole or crushed. 2. Place whole or crushed herbs in jars. Screw on shaker caps. Label and date each jar. 3. Store in your pantry or spice drawer up to 1 year. 4. Shake, measure or pour into your favorite recipes! Note: Shaker caps are not intended for processing. Wash jars and caps before first use - dishwasher safe, top rack.

Buy the CAPS!
I don't think they're selling them online yet but in the store, they also sell these lids which they refer to as 'caps'. There are two caps in each box and the box says 'Ball, Stay-Open Lid Design, Herb Shaker Caps'. The caps are extremely cool!!! The caps fit on REGULAR MOUTH mason jars....(and be sure to read because they may sell wide mouth caps too but I have not seen any if they do). These little jars are cute and the holes are rather large because it is for the thicker leafy type spices. There is no scoop hole but they unscrew easily so really no need for a scoop section. In my image you will also see the box that contains two caps and also a regular size blue mason jar with one of the caps on it. The caps are so nice since they fit the regular mouth jars...which is great for large amounts of herbs and spices......not to mention other stuff you might want to put in there to shake out.....powdered creamer, etc.
