This circuit breaker is built properly

When buying circuit breakers, you need to take care to find oout what type of circuit breaker it is. There are two types, one is a thermal plate design and the other is like a conventional home-style breaker. The thermal plate design is inferior and will shut itself off from engine heat even though there isn't a shorted wire. This circuit breaker is the conventional style and will work when it is supposed to and will not loose current capacity over time...great item. Also, it's convenient to be able to trip the breaker so you can work on your stereo.

Great circuit breaker

Things nice to have if you need 150amps or under, always nice to pop the hood & re clip it back into place, rather than blowing fuses allday..Got it on my 4-channel
