But now they are confronted with Hans and his Porsche, his young girlfriend and his house in the country. It is supposed to be a pleasant day out for the 'lucky people' and their new partners: the eccentric Helene turns up with a car polisher and boasts a house of her own in Uelzen, wannabe-actor Tom has Charlotte by his side, a bored art collector. Between them all stands Angela, Hans' latest conquest, a very young hairdresser. He plans to go steady with her, quit the bohemian way of life and become a family man. The highly organized party is soon thrown off the rails by old romantic entanglements and jealousies.
