Natural biodegradable pine pellets. When my cat urinates the pellets turn into a sawdust like matter. The urine smell is virtually gone. There is some smell when my cat first urinates but disappears quickly. Same with poo although that can last longer depending on how much effort my cat wants to out into burying it. I am extremely satisfied with this product.

This stuff is amazing but expensive, especially when I can buy twice the amount for $6 at my feed store (look for horse pellet bedding, same thing and substantially cheaper!). Problem is they don't always have it in stock or I'm unable to make a trip out there, in that case I'll buy a few bags of this to get by. Keep in mind if you're new to using this type of litter, it doesn't clump so when it gets wet it disintegrates to a saw dust type consistency. You have to either throw the whole contents of the litter box out and replace with fresh every couple days or scoop out the whole unused pellets and then throw the soiled out. It's not as bad as it sounds and you don't have any nasty chemical or perfume smells lingering in your home or around your cats.
