I bought this bike for my 13yr old grandson who has a slight disability. He just recently learned how to ride on my daughter's small 20 inch bike. Once he learned how to balance we upgraded and got him this bike. I thought he would have trouble to balance since it was a little bigger, but the 1st day he rode it like an expert. The only thing I would need to adjust the seat a little higher, which requires tools to unscrew the bolts. Some other Hyper bikes are tool free if the seat needs to be adjusted. He have not tested on shifting the speed yet. He doesn't complain that the seat is too hard so I assuming it's fitting for him. A friend had assembled the bike within 30 mins or less from the box. Very light weight, front/ back brake works fine. Perfect size 24 inch for height 4'8 - 5'2 or whoever can handle it. I was somewhat leery of the price thought is was cheaply made, but the bike is well built. I look forward to purchasing this brand again in a 26 inch size for myself

My son's Birthday gift.

My son really LOVED the colors and the looks of the detailed parts on the bike. He was very excited from the moment he saw it in the box and even more so after we took it out of the box. Dad %26 I were very pleased to see him so happy about his new bike %26 I couldn't wait to finish assembling it for him. Thank You Walmart for giving my son the happiness he deserves for a reasonable price.

Pretty good, but not the best ever

As far as brand name goes, we have 4 different bikes from the same company, all which have been purchased at either a Walmart store or Walmart.com, also we always buy the Square Trade protection plans. They are affordable compared to more expensive name brand bikes, but they are not so easy to assemble or adjust when they come out of the box or off the rack. My husband likes a challenge and likes to be his own version of a handyman so he has no problem taking time to get the bikes suitable for our kids. My advice, get the warranty plan and be able to tinker with adjustments or at least find someone who is able to fix bikes and not charge an arm and a leg.
