1109677 STAIN DECK SOLID DEEP GL Cabot Solid Tintable Deep Base Water-Based Acrylic Deck Stain 1 gal (Pack of 4)

I have used this product tinted Cordovan Brown over two summers 2012/2013 and found it to be excellent in coverage and weathering.  The drying time does vary depending on the application surface.  It dries quickly - overnight - on porous surfaces, but takes 2 days or more if the surface has old solid smooth stain on it or if the wood is hard and smooth, probably due to the fact that it can't soak into the old stained solid or smooth wood surfaces.  Although this is 'Deck Stain' , and the instructions say it not intended for use on siding, it works great on Wood Cedar Shingles as well, giving excellent coverage and protection, with superior weathering - no signs of chalking after one year on Decks, Rails, or Shingles.

We had been using other products before today. Let me tell you, this is THE BEST product we've ever used! We are paint and stain snobs. We only buy the very best because it's worth it. I took a chance after having inferior staining projects. We can't BELIEVE how nice this is. Color is perfect, coverage is perfect in one coat, it's nice and thick with no dripping, it's drying just as beautifully as it went on. We will never use another product! Thank you! Thank you!
