I just received these and I put them up as soon as possible and replaced them with my 20+ year old ones. The clamp is very strong and holds the pants with a tight grip. I previously bought your black hangers for our shirts, tops, sweaters and dresses. When I saw you sold black pant hangers, I had to have them. It's amazing the difference it made in replacing wire hangers, and other mismatched hangers with all black. Very classy. I read the suggestion to change our hangers so they all match in a DIY closet renovation article.

It is nothing more than a simple clamp!

What you see is what you get; it works! The only concern I had was the plastic locking device failing which was typically made of metal in the previous items of this type I have owned in the past. However, after using them several times the plastic locking device seems to be holding up just fine.
