Quiet and powerful

Unit was easy to install. I like that the power cord was included and already connected--some other brands require you to buy a power cord separately (yes, you Incinerator!). Reasonably quiet (as long as the splash guard is installed). So powerful you can't really tell when it is grinding up something "hard". Just does what it is supposed to do! The body of the unit is slim, but tall--takes up more space under the sink than the disposer it replaced. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. And, because of the motor, it is heavy. Recommend having a second person help with installation.
