As someone with fine hair, this makes a perfect low ponytail clip for me. It snaps easily into place and stays put all day. It doesn't slide around once I have it where I want it. I'm wearing one of these most days now. Looks a lot nicer than the elastics I wore before. If I had thick hair, it likely would only hold a small, half up sized ponytail.
