Excellent for cleaning your model paint brushes.

Many, many, many years ago, back when I was in the 7th grade (1968), I started building models. I used Turpentine to clean my paint brushes. Fast forward to now and I'm getting back into building models and I needed Turpentine once again, to clean my paint brushes. There is definitely more than enough in this quart container to more than adequately handle that job. :) I'm sure this is good for other purposes but for mine, it rocks!

Just got into painting and finishing as a DIY hobby and found that Klean Strip Turpentine is the best for thinning oil-based primers and some paints. Toluol is good too and I use for stripping and sanding as it's powerful solvent and evaps quickly. I like to keep these two solvents on hand as they are difficult to find here in Nevada.

One Part Turpentine, Two Parts Boiled Linseed Oil, or, 2:1 Boiled Linseed Oil to Turpentine, for the finest wood finish their is for antique musical instruments, antique cuckoo clocks, and similar restoration work. Old-timers (guess I'm now one of them) call it, "Magic Oil" for wood. Turpentine is from trees, anyway. This Turpentine is good enough for the care and restoration of 200 year old woodwork. It will work on your project, too.
