Good read!

I received an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book is told through the eyes of Lauren and Kate. Lauren and Kate are sisters who seem to have a strained relationship. Kate who has great memories of her late father and Lauren who does not. One afternoon while Kate and Laurens families are having lunch at their mothers house there is a knock at the door. When the door is answered there is a girl by the name of Jess that is there. She is looking for Kate and Laurens father. Jess believes that this man is also her father. As the book goes on, it is apparent that everyone's stories are not adding up. Jess doesn't appear to be who she says she is, Lauren has a past full of secrets, and Kate is on a journey to figure out the truth. At one point, I thought I had the whole book figured out. I thought it was going to be a typical suspense book because all directions were pointing to the theory I had come up with. But, I was wrong and didn't see the ending of the book coming. I am a fan of Sandie Jones writing. I have read several other books she has written and enjoyed them all. I would read another book by this author and recommend this book to any reader looking for a quick suspenseful read!
