Great model with lots of features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where to begin, I have experience with Lego when I was younger but this is my first attempt at the technic range. With that in mind it took me a total of 6hrs to construct following the instructions which were very clear and step by step. This was an average of 2 hours per stage which there was 3 and the contents were bagged and numbered relating to each stage which made finding the pieces easier. The finished product was visually very accurate to the ford raptor in real life with a lot of attention to the small details. Being able to open and close the doors and bonnet is a nice touch with the ability to steer using the control in the roof. It also seems a very solid build that you don't have to be very gentle with. Overall I am really impressed and it lives up to the Lego brand. I would recommend for a hobbyist that has some time on their hands and enjoys all the technical details.

Greatly detailed piece of art

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a quick build but worth every minute. Massive detail put into every part from the engine right through to the body. Definitely worth the time put in and being able to clear my mind while putting it together. Every piece present and correct

Great product

When I opened the shipping box I was impressed on how well the box looked, the impression continued further, when I looked inside the instruction manual all those details and information where a very nice extra(I know most of it can be found on Google,but still ) when building the set I was very excited to finish it, some steps where challenging but a easy experience overall. Now when I built the set I was impressed by the level of detail and functionality in this model (I Know the 42110 has more but the price....) It was a joy to play with the suspension, steering and driving the engine. The only negatives I can think of is the lack of a functional steering wheel and also the lack of re enforcement on the front axle, It really takes 6 cheap parts to fix.(And also the price for European countries ) But in Canada this set has a great value . Thanks Lego for making a Ford pickup truck!
