I'm very picky when it comes to running shoes, and these are it. When I first put them on, they felt like durable slippers! They have a nice cushioned feel underfoot without unnecessary padding, and feel very good both walking and running. I did change out the shoe laces because they felt really cheap, came undone easily, and were too long, but the rest of the shoe is terrific. I have high arches and put about 35 miles/week on my shoes.

My new favorite road shoe!

I was hesitant to buy these because I have run exclusively in the Torin for a while now. They have been my favorite, and didn't think I would like anything better. That being said, Torin and Intution are both a great shoe, but the more I run in the Intution, the more I love them. A little less cushion in the sole, but still more than enough to be comfortable and get you through a long run. I love the mesh upper! So breathable, and let's constricting than the Torin. These are the perfect shoe year round. I do love the Escalante, but I prefer a little more shoe when I run. These are it for me!

Finally what I wanted!

After falling in love with the Lone Peaks, I've been searching for the perfect Altra road shoe for long-distance running. The Torin had a disappointing fit. The Escalante felt like converse shoes with a fancy sole. The Intuition finally lives up to my expectation. Fit is wonderful. Cushion is spot-on. I ran 35 miles my first two days in them. My new favorite road shoe!
