My African Violets seems to thrive in this soil. It doesn't seem to have as many large pieces of bark as the MG brand. Plus, I like being able to add my own special ingredients and the fact that it doesn't include any plant food. I prefer to add my own when I feel it is needed. Highly recommend this brand of AV potting mix.
