Great New Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the smaller pellets and the alpacas love them. Very happy with this new line.
The new nutritional features are great But!!!!!
My alpacas are not liking the new flavor,, they loved the sweet of the old growth and repro. There are not eating this one the the other, in fact some won't even touch it!!!!! NOT HAPPY With This!! I have pregnant and nursing mothers and they need this,, not sure what to buy NOW!!
Alpacas can sometimes be very picky about new foods so it’s important to make sure you provide a slow transition between their old diet and the new diet. A slow transition over a couple of weeks helps them get used to the taste and texture of the new diet and is much healthier for their GI tract. The new formula has been carefully developed with lots of research to provide even better nutrition for your alpaca moms and growing crias, so the effort of transitioning them over to the new formula will be worth it! I have been feeding Mazuri Growth and Repro. I was unable to order the Growth and Repro and had to substitute Alpaca Complete Life. It was not very palatable to my alpacas who were very reluctant to eat. Very worrisome as I have a nursing mom. They were very happy when I was once again able to obtain the Growth and Repro.
