The Trufit name is a little misleading. I used this muffler as a replacement for an original on my car. Had to cut off about an inch from each side of the pipes on each end to fit and go to the local parts store to get an adapter to fit it to the front inlet pipe. The pipe on the car was the exact size as the inlet pipe on the muffler. Overall I was able to make it work and was happy to be able to put it on without welding. Larger size muffler clamps are also required to make this work.
