Like watching the sunrise

The mug is mostly black while cold, however when warm liquids are inside the mug, the background turns a nice blue and green. While brewing a cup directly into the mug, this makes it very easy to tell where you are in the brewing process. Overall good size and it's Halo, so that's awesome as well

Not dishwasher safe.

This is a nice mug. It was a gift for my bro. He loves it. My mom made the mistake of washing in dishwasher. We had to go get a new one after that.
