Rhombophyllum dolabriforme, more commonly known as Elkhorn Plant, is a low semi-shrub Mesemb with multiple upright branches that can reach up to 12 inches (30 cm) in height. Its green leaves are vertically flattened, about 1.2 inches (3 cm) long with an axe-like shape, tooth-like tips and translucent dots all over. From mid-spring, R. dolabriforme produces large yellow daisy like flowers up to 1.6 inches (4 cm) in diameter with numerous thin petals. Its growing season is in the spring and summer and it becomes dormant during winter. Porous and well-drained potting mix. Full sun to Partial sun.
