This kit compares favorably with the Richmond Gear kit. I liked the ring gear bolts better than the Richmond kit because the portion of the bolt that goes through the spool was smooth, instead of threaded. I also want to mention that this kit does include carrier bearing shims, pinion depth shims, and pinion pre-load shims. One of the descriptions I read erroneously said all it had was pinion pre-load shims. The seal was comparable to a factory seal. All in all a very good value, and much more economical to buy all these components in a kit rather than individually.
