Peaches & Creme Cotton Cone Black Yarn, 14 Oz.

This is the best value at my walmart for cotton yarn. Note that it works up (knit and crochet) very differently than acrylic yarn (which is what I used when I started working with yarn since it's cheaper). Acrylic yarn is pretty easy to work with since it's rougher and twisted more. Cotton yarn is smoother so it's easier to drop stitches, and it is made of individual stands that you can accidentally spilt if you aren't paying attention to your hook/ needle placement. That said, cotton is so much better for clothes than acrylic. It isn't itchy like acrylic can be and it feels better against your skin. If you are making clothes or accessories like hats and scarves, I think it's worth the extra cost and effort to work with cotton yard, and this brand is a great value for what you get!

Like the brand. All colors are good. Boulder colors may bleed a little bit with first wash. Even after the colors are very bright.
