Thermal Diabetic Socks, I don't think so.

This item is listed as "Thermal diabetic socks". I am not diabetic. however, I can have swelling in my ankle area if socks are too constricting, this same condition is also common among diabetics due to disease-related circulation issues. When I opened the package, I realized right away that these socks would be too tight for me to wear. So, I called Walmart customer service, and was able to speak to a very polite robot who promptly informed me that this item is not returnable, and that I should contact the vendor directly. I looked it up and went to the GILBIN website- called the 800 number- "call could not be completed", so I sent an email on March 2- eight days ago, no response as of yet. So, I packaged up the socks and went to the post office and found out that mailing my socks (which cost me $33.00) back to GILBIN would cost me over $20.00- at this point I don't even know if that company is still in business, so I gave up. Oddly enough this was the second time I ordered "diabetic socks" from Walmart, the first time I called customer support- they processed the refund on the spot and emailed me a FDEX return label. This time I called customer support and got stiffed by a robot, thanks Walmart, you probably just lost a customer. If someone from Walmart actually reads this, you should have my contact information in my customer profile, I look forward to speaking with you.
