Slightly different than before

This replaced my old one. The new one is designed slightly different. It's a little harder for my thumb to reach the button to open when pouring. Also, the opening does not open big enough to get the water in easily. That said, it's still my choice over others.

Hassle To Fill & Pour

Esthetically, it's fine. HOWEVER, *filling* it is a pain in the you-know-what since the flap doesn't lift very much/high. This leaves very little room between the faucet and kettle spout. If it opened wider, it'd be just about perfect. The other issue is that, since it opens so narrowly, *pouring* is a hassle. You have to tilt the kettle quite a bit for the water to come out. Wish they still had the other version ~ the flap lifted high enough so that filling & pouring weren't an issue.

Horrible Design of Flip Top

Whoever designed this tea kettle should be fired. As several reviewers have stated, the flip top doesn't open wide enough to fill easily. They need to discontinue this item and go back to the drawing board and do it right this time!
