Please check pricing!

I bought my turquoise, yellow, and pink colors in store, all for under $3 each. If you are paying much more than that online I think you should check in store. Prices DO fluctuate though and I noted that different colors sold for different prices in store. Some colors cost more than $3. So just do your research before you buy! The yarn itself is good for my basic kid's craft uses that I am doing.

Large skeins were perfect for my afghan project.

When making an afghan, I like large skeins to make less yarn connections. I love the (jewel-tone) Peacock color. The color is a little darker than pictured. The weight of the yarn seems heavier than medium but, it was perfect for my size J crochet hook. I don't know how it would work with a smaller hook. I am almost finished with 1 skein and it does not tangle like another large-skein brand that I have used. I am very satisfied with this yarn.
