I not only like the thick batting , but also the fabric! I have my iron and ironing board in my sewing room and the cover has colorful ironing designs (iron, t-shirts, clothes hangers, spray starch, clothes pins, etc) on a white background. The cover has elastic all around it and the fit is very snug. I have used it several weeks and there has been no slipping of the cover like other pads I have had. Since I have something colorful to look at, I almost like to iron!

The quality of this ironing board cover is very nice. It is cute and the cover has a soft lining on the back. It fit my board perfectly, was easy to put on, and the fabric is not thin. This is a cute ironing board cover. Padding is connected to top layer so it goes on easily, without wrinkles underneath. Looks nice, since I look at it every day I am pleased with that. Fits nice, not too big or too small. Time will tell if it is scorch proof, since I've just started using it and it will be used almost daily.
