We replaced our old one with the same thing!

We ran our last one for years and when we decided to replace it, the research showed that the Express was exactly what we wanted and for less money. We looked at the Bullet but didn't want all the extra pieces since it's just my husband and I and we don't take our drinks on the road. Love it! And yes it grinds up wheat grass ice cubes and fresh fruit:) And no it doesn't leak and is extremely safe.

Second time

This is my second Basic. The last one lasted 6 years with only minor things. Quick and easy. Love it.

Does the Job!

This is the third Back to Basics blender I've purchased. The first lasted 4 or 5 years then the motor burned out. The second one lasted just a few weeks more than one year and the switch became disabled. I like the blender, I use it every day and it's just the right size for a single person. The company has changed hands between my second and third purchase. The new manufacturer increased the price but added quite a few additional pieces for which I have found no use. The value would be greatly increased by making the motor assembly repairable by a skilled repairman. The second unit would likely have lasted quite a few years longer if I could have replaced the switch.
