The Goulds WS0518BF, part of the Model 3887BF from the WS_BF Series, is a submersible sewage pump engineered for effluent, sewage, or wastewater applications, capable of handling maximum 2-inch spherical solids. Featuring a cast iron, semi-open, non-clog impeller dynamically balanced with pump-out vanes for mechanical seal protection, this pump ensures efficient operation. Its cast iron flanged volute type design allows for easy installation on A10-20 slide rail or base elbow rail systems, maximizing efficiency. The mechanical seal with SILICON CARBIDE VS. SILICON CARBIDE sealing faces provides superior abrasive resistance, complemented by stainless steel metal parts and BUNA-N elastomers for durability. The pump boasts a corrosion-resistant shaft made of 300 series stainless steel and threaded design with locknut on all models to prevent component damage from accidental reverse rotation. Additionally, it comes with 300 series stainless steel fasteners, ensuring long-term reliability. With the ability to run dry without damage, this pump is designed for continuous operation when fully submerged. Equipped with a capacitor start motor for maximum starting torque and built-in overload with automatic reset, it delivers efficient performance. Supplied with NEMA three-prong grounding plugs and a 2" NPT threaded companion flange, this pump finds applications in homes, water transfer, sewage systems, light industrial, dewatering/effluent, and commercial settings.
