It is blown foam so do not expect a wood proxy. However, easy to attach to our front exterior walls, including trim points around windows and abutting doors. Trimming was done with a razor blade knife. We did deal all edges to prevent any rain water intrusion behind the panels. In areas where we did some carving exposing the plain foam, we touched up with brown or grey paint to match the panel colors. We then added a exterior polyurethane sealer to prevent any edge seepage or painted area deterioration - being exposed to Florida heat, rains and northern exposure mold risks, this is a common precautionary step.
