Exactly as shown. Teal Blue. Excellent quality. It is wool and viscose (synthetic silk), not polypropylene. Haven't needed a pad, but looking into felt and rubber 1/4 inch thick would be great. Very pleased with my purchase. I have looked hi and low for a round hand tufted rug. Eureka! It came to Utah from Pennsylvania. Could not have had a better experience. I have it in a high traffic area, living room, but live alone and don't allow shoes. A carpet sweeper, broom, or hand vac is recommended. I have not used any yet. It has zero flaws and the backing is beautiful high quality stitched cotton. It is a little scratchy against bare skin (wool), but I'm sensitive. It is plush and soft underneath bare feet. Happy me. FYI this is my first wool rug.
