I've used air mattresses in the past and between them either getting damaged or constantly deflating while sleeping and have to awake in the night to battery or electric pump, I got no sleep. Preferred the ground at that point. Gave this a shot and what a game changer. It is so thin you'd think it wouldn't help, but the way it's designed, the fact that you aren't directly on ground, it's got just enough cushion, it keeps the cold you would feel being directly on the ground away, and has a manual “pump” if you wanna call it that- so silence. Aside from sweating a bit on the 5 min initial pump up by hand or foot, it's good to go. We've used this multiple times for extended camping trips and only have had to add a bit more air every few days to keep it optimal. The only thing I don't like is the pillows inflate very high and they don't have a separate way to deflate them a bit if you want them lower. Overall, I would highly recommend.
