The only thing it can't do is wash your dishes. In all honesty, the Stream Deck XL was built for the creatives who need all the shortcuts to keep the stream going without a hitch. I'm actively using mine on and offline for a myriad of reasons. Be it scene switching, muting my mic and promoting my social network profiles on stream, or during my editing for Photoshop, After Effects and more. There's so much to do with the Stream Deck and it's pretty much nothing this device can't handle. Except your dishes. You're on your own. Get one and level up your battle station.

The Stream Deck XL is one of the most necessary pieces of equipment for streaming. Honestly, before I was in no hurry to even get my own because I didn't feel what I was doing required it. I was fortunate enough to be sent this product by Elgato, and now I don't know how streamed without it before. I haven't unlocked the full potential of it yet, but being able to trigger multi-action sequences (music, multiple scene transitions, lighting changes, camera zooms, etc) with just one button is just amazing. It allows simple things to be more streamlined and opens up all new doors for you, whether it's for streaming or personal use in your home.
