We had two Cuisinart pod/carafe coffee makers (original and warranty replacement) and they were terrible. We got fed up and threw it out. We just broke down and bought this one (should have in the first place) and it works great! Brews quickly, has lots of options for strong coffee, iced coffee and various cup sizes. I like making a cup of tea in a matter of minutes as well.
