Freedom!!!

My approach to wellness was shattered into a million pieces after reading this book and I am so thankful this happened. Jesus loves me and knew the powerful words in this book would help me tackle my weight thru the authors use of spiritual truths. I took this journey and was guided step by step to the freedom of no longer having food be my enemy!!!

This book is bittersweet and beautiful. You see as I read it I laughed or related to every page! However I had to push myself and schedule time to read it, because it spoke to me on so many levels and was so enjoyable as I was reading but I think there was spiritual warfare and life tried to stop me from hearing all God spoke through sweet Jami. So I encourage you to buy the book and make time to read it, because this isn't a step by step plan that works for some people but is unrelatable for most.... It's a relatable journey with a friend to finding and growing into the best you that you can be!

Girl, Read this book!

Well, Girl Book Review Well, Girl is a book that every woman needs to read! No matter your struggle in life, Jami will inspire and encourage you, and make you laugh out loud! She covers you in Scripture and reminds you to love yourself because your Heavenly Father loves you. Pick up a copy of Well, Girl by Jami Amerine and make a cup of your favorite tea or coffee! Go get comfy in your favorite chair because you wont be able to put this book down!! If you have ever struggled with body image, self confidence issues, diet fads, needing to lose weight, needing to gain weight, and everything in between, you NEED to read this book!! Jami is open, honest, sassy, funny, encouraging, and covers her book with Scripture while being very practical with life as a woman in todays world! While reading the whole book, it was like Jami was speaking directly to me and the struggles that I have or have had! Its like she knew exactly what I needed to hear and knew exactly what some of my excuses in life are such as And in an instant I knew: I am not truly trusting God. I have a plan B, C, D, E, and F. If He doesnt come through, if things fall completely apart, I got this. Jami talks about finding freedom in the struggles of not being happy with our bodies. She talks of how much we are loved by our Heavenly Father, ...you are adored. There is this space where we speak truth and positivity into our lives because Jesus said to. And there is another space where life is going to deal us some seemingly impossible situations. It is in that place where I propose that surrender, without a doubt that God is still good, is the safest place to find sanctuary. Girl, read this book! Know that being physically healthy is very important, but that being spiritually healthy is even more vital to your well-being!
