Orijen Fit & Trim Biologically Appropriate Grain-Free Dry Cat Food, 12 lb

My two Siamese were rescues at 1 year old and 2 years old. They put on weight fast with the Science Diet they were on and still screamed for food half the day. We tried Orijen fit and trim wet and dry and they stopped begging for more food after one week. So we are maintaining weights and they looke so good and are satisfied!

Orijen is one of the few brands I truly trust. It is far more transparent about its ingredients than almost all other brands. My cat has been eating it since she was a kitten, and her usual choice is the Original Cat recipe. When switching to new dry food, it's important to do it gradually. The Fit & Trim recipe is very close in content to the Original Cat, so the transition went smoothly. At first, my cat was very excited about it, she clearly liked it. But after about 12 days, her excitement started to fade. She began eating a bit less than normal and started asking for treats more often. I gave her some of the Original Cat again, and she ate it with so much enthusiasm that it was clear she still preferred it. So we went back to the Original Cat as her main food. This reaction is actually the same as when we tried other Orijen dry foods like Tundra, Six Fish, and Guardian 8. She enjoyed them at first, then lost interest, and we ended up keeping them only for occasional rotation.
