This is not one of Nora's best books. The first 100 pages or so are kind of boring & leave you wondering if its ever going to get better or if the whole book is going to drag out like this. After you get through the boring part, it starts getting very interesting and you won't be able to put it down. It has just the right amount of romance paired with a murder mystery, including two mysteries of attempted murders and a legend of pirates treasure. I'm a sucker for mystery books so obviously I loved having all that in one book.
Anyway back to the topic at hand, basically if you don't have the patience to deal with the overly detailed beginning then I wouldn't read it. It is a very good book & I recommend that anyone who likes a good mystery paired with romance give it a shot. It kept me on my toes until the very end. Just give it a chance before you get bored and put it down, it will end up being one of your favorites.
