Sturdy and easy to use

This ramp has been a huge help in getting my senior dog into the car. The ramp is textured making it easier for my dog to grip and walk up. It's fairly compact and fits in the trunk. Always getting compliments at the vet when others see him coming in or out of the car using it. It has saved car rides for my old guy!

What's not to like?

Great, compact, sturdy for it's compactness, affordable. It's hard to make a one-size-fits-all situation for each dog, vehicle, etc. This one works and I can put it in the back of our SUV and still get other things in the back besides our Labrador. Yes, the sandpaper runway is high grit, but you don't want your dog slipping. Our dog has the elizabethan cone on his head, and if he'd slipped on the surface, I don't think he would ever try using the ramp again. So, I understand why they made the ramp with high traction. Just slow your dog down when getting on the ramp and lightly support his rump to help him in. Simple adjustment and problem solved.
