In order to increase the friction and protect your pets from chafing claws, the surface of the pet ladder is ridged. Ok-Lock needs to be on the other end
I love that it also works with my truck tailgate. Me dog went up after trying the side door. It slides open fast if you hold it up… need to keep fingers out of the way. I love how light it is… I just feel the lock should be on the other end. I had to re-super glue the rough material back down o the ends, but holding up really well. My dog weighs 73 lbs, %26 it's hods her no problem!

I have a Nissan Armada and 4 dogs. Picking up the 80lb bulldog and old lady 75lb lab was getting daunting. Now expecting its not feasible. So I ordered this ramp. Took a few times of guiding them with their harnesses on and now they go in and out on their own. Slides closed and fits in the back next to the crate. My other pups are German shorthairs so they jump right in. Highly recommend.
