It is soft like a T-shirt, but is stretchy so it's easier to get on than some of the other suits. We have tried. Although this is listed as a Womans, it worked perfectly for him and men's suits are significantly more than women's.

Zips up the back so they're hard for the wearer to remove which is good if you have someone who likes to undress when they shouldn't.
