Not as advertised. Not dimmable. Not touch lamp.
The lamp looks just like the picture. It seems sturdy enough and is pretty. However it is definitely not working as a touch lamp. you have to pick up the whole lamp and turn it over to turn it on or off. there is no reaction at all if you touch it, no matter where you touch it on the item. not the base, not the bulb, not the metal bars. nothing. it doesn't Jim or do anything else. it is one solid color. unfortunately I had purchased it for someone who needed it for the touch lamp capability so it will not work for that. it would be better if it had plugged in and had a switch, at least you wouldn't have to turn the entire thing upside down and find a tiny switch to turn it off and on. Especially with the shipping charges, I would NOT have ordered this if I had known it wasn't really a touch lamp.
