The new starter fixed my problem. I had an intermittent problem where the car wouldn't start the first time and would just click. The brushes were probably worn or really dirty and weren't making good contact with the armature commutator bar. When it did start, it would take a few turns and was rough. This was not worth taking it apart and trying to fix it since the starter was 16 years old. The new starter from 1A solved this and now the engine turn over really fast and smooth. The video 1A had was quite a bit different than my 2008 CX Lacrosse. I found some on U-tube that was for my exact car which really helped, The new starter looked exactly like the one 1A showed. It was a little bit larger diameter wise but that didn't make any difference installation wise. It was easy to install it with the car resting on floor jacks. The electrical connections were were tight to get to but a socket with a 4"extension bar fit right in.
